Humana's MarketPoint business requires a dedicated consumer website to help support overall sales and marketing efforts. The goal of this project is to create a site that empowers agents and better serves individual consumers, thus resulting in greater lead generation and sales conversion. The site is comprised of front end marketing pages and an admin tool that will give users the ability to manage content and publish. The system is comprised of both a consumer facing web site and a back end publishing tool for agents. The consumer web site will support the marketing efforts representing a destination where traffic can be directed from marketing campaigns and searches. The site will be designed to provide consumers with basic content and product information, as well as capture leads consisting simple form data from consumers who wish to be contacted by an agent). The customer application also allows a consumer to reach an agent page directly either by simply entering the agent's name. Each agent will have a separate URL within the consumer application so their profiles and the products managed by them can be accessed directly. The site will thus function as a prospecting tool for agents and will promote generation of leads. The project also includes an administrative application which will be used by agents, directors and administrators to manage the content which is displayed on the consumer web site. The content being displayed on the consumer web application is very dynamic and a solution to manage this content is needed. A formal approval workflow will make sure that the updated information is being reviewed by the appropriate stakeholder before it is being published.
