Job Description: Our customer, a leader in the financial industry with locations from coast to coast, is searching for a Mortgage Support Assistant II. Position Details: Position: Mortgage Support Assistant II Location: Plano, Texas Hours: 8-5 M-F Pay Rates: $17.00/hour Length: 12 - Months Job Description: Responsible for all aspects of Mortgage Operations as it relates to the retrieval and storage of the origination loan files, as well as, the review and processing of the final recorded security instruments, title policies and promissory note and the delivery of said documents to the appropriate investor/custodian. To ensure that a thorough review of the loan documents is completed and remediation of any errors are completed in a timely manner to preserve our first lien position. Specific Responsibilities: Receive all origination files from investor delivery department Complete all requests for origination files within 48 hours of the request Review the legal documents in accordance to the state and local requirements Ensure that all collateral/core files processed and stacked in order Enter appropriate dates and data in the origination system Partner with the settlement agents to ensure that the legal documents are received in a timely manner Partner with our investors and custodians to ensure that all discrepancies found are cleared prior to the final completion date. Review all incoming bulletins/communications to ensure investor/custodian and regulatory requirements are met. Escalated problems to team lead if the errors cannot be resolved.
