Bayside Solutions is partnering with a large enterprise level healthcare provider to identify a Desktop Support Technician with at least three years of experience with technical support, deployments and hardware/software rollouts. Our client has XP images on their machines and they will eventually convert to Windows 7 in 2012. Candidates should have a clean health record and be able to pass a standard pre-employment background check. Desktop Support Technician Santa Cruz, CA 6 month contract These candidates have to flexible with hours and be able to lift up to 50lbs and possess excellent communication skills since there will be customer interaction. Candidates must be professional and be able to take direction well. They must have reliable transportation and be extremely reliable. Duties: - Technician will provide in-house support for internal users - Provide in-house support, imaging and deployment of PC hardware and software applications for migrating systems - Provide in-house support for populating and managing all device and demographic data - Upgrade all Dell PC's and printers to HP Required skills: - PC hardware set up - Software installations - Laptop configurations - Imaging of PC's - Upgrade experience - Roll out or migration experience - Dell and HP experience - Windows XP and Windows 7 experience - Remediation - Previous healthcare experience is a plus
