Our client, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking a SQL Server Database Developer to perform the following duties: * Use SQL Server Management Studio to develop SQL Server Database Tables, Stored Procedures, Jobs and Data Import/Export functions as directed by the DBA Management such that the work complies with policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity programming in T-SQL to extract, manipulate and populate data; or writing complex queries and stored procedures. of the company database * Specific assignments may include: creating jobs to import/manipulate data * Produce detailed technical design documents to support development of system enhancements or defect resolution * Implement standard concepts and best practices as defined by policies and procedures * Manage projects and complete design documents Qualifications: * 5-7 Years experience with SQL Server Development, with a minimum of 4 years of SQL Server 2005 experience * Experience with Data Warehousing is highly desirable * Experience designing databases and building design documents * Ability to effectively work in a matrix management and cross-functional structure. * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to communicate with the Line of Business clients * Ability to multi task and adapt to change * Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
