MUST have 5 or more years experience in coding and analysis in Windows environments - Strong VB.Net skills - VB6 - SQL server skills - 2005 preferable - MS SQL - Report generation experience: Crystal Reporting **Business application experience - insurance/disability industry is a plus This position is responsible for performing software development using approved CDS tools such as SQL Server, Visual Basic, and Microsoft Access. The majority of this position will be spent working in VB.Net. However, there are some older VB6 apps as well that need support. Chiefly responsible for support and development/conversion of company reporting. In addition, responsible for support of VB6 applications and assisting in VB.NET rewrite of administrative systems. The principal role this person will fill is in the reporting environment,so Reporting Services and SQL are important.
