Ghost Writer Needed for Recruiting Centric Blog Posts - Ghostwriting Article Writing Business Writing Creative Writing Blogs
We are a small software firm that produces software for the recruiting, staffing & IT Consulting industries. We are looking to partner with someone or possibly a few people to provide ghost writing services for our blog. At this point, we are thinking of 2 blog posts per week at about 500-700 words each. Topics cover anything relevant to recruiting & staffing firms (not in-house/corporate recruiting). A few initial topics so you know what we are thinking: - "How To" Articles on topics like social recruiting, recruiting on LinkedIn, sourcing techniques - Strategies for sourcing candidates online - Time Management Strategies - Tips & Tricks on how to become a better recruiter - Topics focused on management issues for recruiting firm owners - General Technology related posts to mix in some different content from time to time - Reviews of Software or Industry specific tools (non competing with our product) - Etc... We will work with you to come up with acceptable Headlines and blog topics, but we would really love it if you already have a good grasp on the recruiting industry and can help suggest titles as well. If you have direct experience in the recruiting & staffing industry (especially from a third party perspective) that is a huge plus! We really want to help our audience out with these articles and plan on promoting them heavily via our newsletter & social media. If you can't write convincingly (like you really know this industry), then its probably not a good fit. Most posts will be written for our Director of Marketing who has been working in the industry for 12 years, so you need to make it look like he knows what he is talking about. :-) This is a long term opportunity. Once we find the right person, we would like to keep using you. That being said, we want to find the right person and will do what we can to ensure we are a good fit for each other. The right person will put a lot of effort in to their writing so it doesn't seem generic or poorly researched. The right person will write with a personality and maybe even have some strong opinions one way or another about specific recruiting topics. The right person will be a strong communicator and willing to set realistic goals/publishing schedules/deadlines and meet those consistently. You must be willing to pick up the phone and call one of us if you are stumped, or to ask questions, run an idea by us for a post, etc... For the most part, the blog posts you submit should be "ready to publish", but you must be willing to make reasonable adjustments as needed or requested by us. We are open on how to structure this relationship. Perhaps we pay per post, or a flat monthly fee? Please suggest how you have worked with clients in the past and what makes most sense to you. We are happy to consider. Please submit a few relevant examples of work you have done in the past. Do you include formatting of the posts, including pictures, etc..? Or do you just provide the raw text? Thanks so much for your response and taking the time to address our questions. It probably goes without saying that generic replies will be immediately discarded so don't waste your time.
