Role: SAP Basis Admin With Netweaver Duration: 6 - 12 Months Contract Location: Burbank, CA Start Date: Immediate DESCRIPTION: Skill : OPERATING SYSTEMS (MAC,LINUX, UNIX, SOLARIS, MVS...) Level: Level 2 Consultlant The primary role of the candidate will be: Senior Basis Consultant - Netweaver Responsibilities: • 1. Responsible for design, configuration and implementation of the SAP Netweaver Solutions • 2. Work closely with the SAP functional and development teams to provide general technical support of the SAP Netweaver systems • 3. Perform the SAP system performance and capacity planning • 4. Provide technical team coordination support as needed for the project • 5. Provide project support in documentation Specific Deliverables: • 1. Update SAP Basis technical procedure documentation in support of the BW, Portal, and Business Objects systems • 2. Complete and document all resolution of assigned SAP Basis tickets and defects • 3. Document updates to the SAP Basis team policy and procedures • 4. Participate in the tuning of the system landscape to ensure the optimal performance including system, application monitoring, and troubleshooting • 5. Resolve technical, application, and administration issues in a limited timeframe Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field required. • Must have at least 5 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience. • SAP experience with WAS 7.xx, Solution Manager 7.0, Business Warehouse 7.0, SAP Netweaver 7.0, Business Objects, and R/3 Enterprise (6.0). • Previous experience / knowledge with OS (UNIX and Windows) and DB (DB2 and SQL). • Experience in BCS.
