Job Description Firmware Engineer Canton, OH Title : Firmware Engineer Location:Canton,OH Duration: 12 months Responsibilities include: Assist with certain test plans and implementing the system that executes and reports on those tests. Assist with testing automation using a simulation environment. Assist with triage of problem reports and provide resolution progress. Create and maintain various engineering tools used to debug, analyze and test embedded products, particularly script and GUI based test sequencers. Help setup and maintain the set of embedded development tools like compilers, and debuggers, etc Skills & Experience: Experience with various testing techniques and languages. Database design, access and analysis. Test execution and reporting. Knowledge of data acquisition, analysis and graphic displays. Programming Languages and development environments C++, C#, Visual Studio.Net, Rhapsody, UML Python, Cpp unit, SQL Required Skills Knowledge real-time methodologies and some work with embedded processors. Experience with Virtual Machines and using VM's for various development environments. Self starter, ability to chart and then follow a plan to achieve world class results. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Six Sigma Critical Parameter capability product assessment methodology & use of rational tool suite with ClearCase, ClearQuest.
