Hi, For this project I'm looking to experiment with text to speech. What I want is a very simple, AS2 based text to speech framework. The .swf output, simply needs an input field and a 'speak' button. When the button is pressed, a voice reads the text that the user has inputted. The sound library I want to be able to edit, to play around with different voices etc. The AS2 source file needs to be very clear, well commented so that I can experiment with it. It is absolutely a must to make it workable and editable in order to play around with this technology and explore the possibilities. It's just a little side project so my budget is limited to $80.
