Database Management Analyst
A primary duty includes one or more of the following: Support, Production or Administration. You may perform database administration (DBA) responsibilities: create and maintain database objects, provide support for back-up, recovery, load, and refresh processes; assist with the DBMS upgrade and patching. Produce technical documentation and participate in production support activities. An alternative role to the DBA's responsibilities - perform data administration responsibilities to include maintaining Metadata repositories and/or data dictionary. Maintain security event logs. Ensure all productions changes are made in accordance with life cycle methodology and risk guidelines. Install, configure, and maintain a distributed, midrange, or Mainframe DBMS. Create a database, database objects, and maintain DB user accounts and implement scripts. This position should typically be used for a less experienced, basic level resource or someone new to the functional discipline. The selected Informatica Administrator must be able to set-up and support deployment of Informatica in the Linux OS environment for various projects. We need an expert in the set-up and configuration of PowerCenter - 4-5 years of experience. Candidates must have technical experience to review physical and logic architectural views and validate starts/stop scripts, etc. Strong technical and problem solving skills are essential. Prior UNIX SA experience will be a plus.
