Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Java Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in New York, NY. Java developer with Web experience, preferably with Flex is needed to work in the Firm Risk Management IT team that supports the Risk Management department which is responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building systems in a multi-tier environment. Strong Java and Web development experience is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities will include working in a 3-5 member team developing, maintaining and supporting solutions using Flex, core Java and DB2 UDB.
