Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Information Security Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in Stamford, CT. Experience with Cyber Ark (Privileged Access Controls) is a big plus Responsibilities: * To perform technical functions related to Information Security and ensure compliance with Global Information Security policy and best practices across all business units. * Perform daily/weekly/monthly security monitoring tasks and handle issues that are uncovered by various internal monitoring tools. Respond to security incidents and conduct targeted review of suspect areas. * Review client requests for Information Security best practices as part of an approval process for various avenues of change (firewall requests, tool access). * Work with Audit and Risk Management to provide evidence of above activities as required. * Manage minor projects / tasks and provide regular reports on progress. * Perform other duties, as assigned. Required Skills: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology; 5 years experience in Information Security. * Hands-on security experience is essential. Prior experience with Network Security: firewalls, IPS/IDS, networking fundamentals. * Security familiarity with: Active Directory, UNIX and Windows platforms. * Experience with two or more of the following security tools (or equivalents) required: Foundstone, Guardium, Vontu, SourceFire, NetPro Change Auditor and Checkpoint Protector * Previous experience in a Financial Services firm a plus. * Industry certifications a plus (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH) SGA is a Certified Womans Business Enterprise (WBE) celebrating over thirty years of service to our national client base.
