You will have the opportunity to: Design, build and maintain a test infrastructure Develop test strategies Work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and determine their acceptance criteria Drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies Ensure that test results are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion This position will support the efforts of the Digital Music Development Teams, as well as supporting other Quality Assurance initiatives as the need arises. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing appropriate tests and test infrastructure - including automated tests and integration of automated tests into continuous development and deployment systems. REQUIREMENTS 3+ years' experience as part of a test team Understanding of software development practices Strong knowledge of QA concepts and methodology Experience validating consumer user interfaces PREFERRED Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python, Shell, Perl, TCL, Ruby Familiarity with test automation applications: Selenium, JUnit, etc. Understanding of the basics of popular web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Experience testing across multiple Microsoft Windows platforms This contract position is expected to be 5 months in duration.
