I need an iPad app to display our user information and address(s) for each user stored in a MS Sequel Server database. The user information is stored in 1 table and the addresses(s) for each user are stored in the second table linked by the user ID. The idea is that a copy of the data would be saved on the iPad so it could be looked at offline. When online the user should be able to edit or delete a record. We do not need to add records with this interface. a) Displays in landscape and portrait layout. b) Developed using xcode 4.5 for iOS 5 with storyboard. c) Stores the database address, username, password, and database name in the program settings. d) Has an "Update" button that connects to the database and downloads 2 tables to local copies so the program can be used when disconnected from the internet. e) Uses a split view controller that in the left pane displays information from the first table - First Name + Last Name, Company Name, email address, sorted by last name f) In the right pane displays the complete detail of the first table and also the linked data from the second table. (see the attached screen shot for an "idea".) g) There are 0, 1 or 2 addresses per user. I won't be able to give you access to the database but will provide sample data from the tables and full table structure. Hi, Many respondents have commented about the need for a api to sit in the middle. We are looking at this and expect to have one available this week for the development of the ipad app. Please consider that a SOAP interface would also be availalbe to access the data in determining cost of the development of the iPad app.
