Software Engineers w/Secret Security Clearance Needed! Boston, MA Please Reference Job ID: 300278-10033-13-306583 Calling all Software Engineers with Real-Time radar mission processing software and/or Weapon/Sonar systems experience and an Active Security Clearance of Secret or Higher! Our client, a global, leading Technology Company that specializes in defense, homeland security and other government markets has a need for talented Software Engineers of varying experience levels from minimum 3 years on up to 10 or more years of experience for senior level positions. This is in order to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and upcoming projects that typically range in duration from 6 months to a year in various Boston Area locations. The Software Engineer basic duties may include, but not be limited to the following: perform requirements analysis, software design/development, code & unit test, integration, item qualification testing, and documentation. For Senior Level positions the Software Engineer may also be responsible for participating in formal and informal reviews as a reviewer and as a presenter, and using our clients change management process to track defects that need to be fixed for the program. Requirements: If you have the following qualifications, we want to speak to you: - Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 3 years experience in C++ and/or Java. - Experience with UML modeling tools, including, ClearCase and ClearQuest Tools, Doors and iTracker. - Experience working in a Unix/Linux development environment. - Experience in development of real-time software for radar mission processing and/or Naval Weapon/Sonar system software. - Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies including Agile/Scrum and ability to follow our client's methodology for software coding and integration processes. - Must have excellent, written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to handle multiple and quickly changing tasks and priorities. - Security Clearance Required: Secret or Higher. *Volt Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer*
