As part of our fast-paced IT team environment, you will grow your career in Software Quality Assurance as you: Perform evaluations on a variety of projects by means of XML & SOAP messages, databases, and process flows as you execute functional, integration, system, and performance testing using manual methods and testing tools. As an SQA professional, you will evaluate, recommend, and implement test tools and strategies while reviewing functional specifications as well as developing and publishing test cases/checklists. With continuous process improvement in mind, you will search out new QA processes and tools to improve QA functions and processes. Experience/Skills Required * 4+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in system user test, and user acceptance testing. * Intermediate level experience in SQL, XML, UNIX and Oracle. * Advanced understanding of coding practices and procedures, QA principles and methodologies, software development lifecycles & processes as well as performance, stress, and load testing methodologies. * Proven ability to develop, review, and execute formal test plans and document results as well as train & mentor team members on SQA processes. * Test data gathering experience using reporting tools or query languages. * Experience working in Windows, UNIX, and Solaris environments. * U.S. Citizenship. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
