Senior .NET Developer(0006526) Santa Ana, CA Contract to Hire (6 months) Start Date 8/20/2012 The Sr .NET Developer is responsible for receiving work specifications from the architects team and produce high-quality software components, provide feedback, test, etc. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to: Preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written; Application of configuration management procedures for changes to the software; Performance of associated process studies, research investigations and requirements analyses of all aspects of assigned projects, by applying analytical and modeling techniques, procedures and criteria in specialized area; Code applications based on business requirements, mainly using C# programming languages; Is well versed in .NET technology; Write complicated SQL stored procedures Software design, engineering and/or development for government uses; Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation; Occasionally, may provide guidance and assists in training of less experienced staff; May research or write portions of technical proposals; Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and compiles information into recommendations and analyses. Skill Sets & Additional Experience: Individual must have or be familiar with the following skills and experience: 7+ years total professional experience with software development; 3+ years recent development with C# .NET Develop/maintain complex applications using .NET toolset (C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net); Development Platforms/IDEs: Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 3+ years recent experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2005) with complicated stored procedures Mobile Device experience is a plus O/S Experience: Microsoft Windows 200x Source Code Version Control: Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Team Foundation Server; Experience with Microsoft Smart Client Framework desirable Knowledge of DotNet Nuke is desirable, but not required for this position Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to handle assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
