AML Business Analyst
A large client in the Columbus market is looking for a business analyst with anti- money laundering experience for a large project. Only qualified candidates apply within. Lead Business Analysts are being sought to play critical roles on a newly forming program team for the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Technology Enhancement program. Each Lead Business Analyst will own the business analysis for a technology work stream for the program; those work streams are Anti-Money Laundering, Sanction Screening, Risk Assessment, Investigations, and Data Management. The technology delivery for the AML Enhancements Program is owned by the Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud, Sanction Screening, and Investigations IT organization which is in the Legal, Compliance, and Control IT (LCCT) organization. As a Lead Business Analyst for LCCT, you will be responsible for leading systems analysis for technology initiatives from pre-initiate through project closure. You will create pre-initiate project documentation, prioritization, scoping, requirements, solutioning, and quality assurance project deliverables. You will work closely with internal business partners on all project phases. The organization is currently considering a Lean Agile proof of concept. In addition to the above, the candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities - Understand and summarize client requirements, translating into technical options and solutions that meet end user business needs - Partner heavily with business users and technology partners, at all levels - Proactively manage scope creep and support a streamlined demand management process - Plan and Coordinate all testing phases to include IST and User Acceptance Testing - Work closely with business partners to identify process improvements and leverage technology to automate and streamline existing processes - Detailed analysis of Anti-Money Laundering Information to support production issues, specific questions from external or internal bodies, and individual thought leadership - Coordinate Enterprise release activities - Multi-task in fast-paced environment Qualifications: - 7+ years business analysis experiences with the ability to lead small to medium scale projects or specific bodies of work - 3+ years of Anti-Money Laundering Experience or 3+ years of hands on experience with and expert level of knowledge in one or more specific banking transaction and customer data sets, e.g TSS, Retail, Wires, DDA, etc. - Experience in all phases of systems development/project life cycle; strong capabilities in defining, creating and managing high quality business requirements; experience with developing Test Plans, Project Plans and other SDLC/PLC deliverables - 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience - Ability to facilitate meetings among stakeholders with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view, including strong negotiation skills and developing strong client and vendor relationships - Detail oriented coupled with the ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness - Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems - Self-motivated with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization - Able to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business questions and needs - Must possess the ability to work and research/resolve issues independently - Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field with preferred focus on Computer Science or Information Systems Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
