Service Desk Analyst - Finance - Contract
My client is a leading city based Market Data Provider, and they are currently on the look out for a Service Desk Analyst for a new contract role. The team is highly technical and act as the main point of contact between the users and the Infrastructure team as a whole. Interaction between multi-disciplined teams around the globe occurs on a daily basis (Windows, Unix, Networks, Databases and Security) so there is plenty of scope to enhance knowledge in these areas alongside accomplished experts. We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: IT Service Desk experience required, in Windows Desktop and Server environment. Thin Client exposure preferable. Exposure to Financial environment advantageous. Windows 7 Pro or Enterprise Desktops, Exchange, BES, Blackberry Handhelds, Windows Server, Printing, Backups, VOIP (esp Cisco Call Manager v6), TCP/IP, Altiris, VPN and Remote Access are all key skills ITIL foundation holder preferred (v.2 or v.3) or ITIL Service Desk and Incident management process awareness.
