My client employs over 9,000 highly skilled people and is the UK's leading naval support business. They focus on a particular market segments such as - submarines, warships, naval base services, equipment manufacture and logistic support services, and design and technology-led programmes. They also have a business unit focused on growing their naval business activities in Australia and New Zealand. Due to continued expansion they have an Immediate need for 3 Mechanical Engineers on a contract basis, for a minimum of 9 months to be based in Leicester. Day to day responsibilities will involve: 1) Conceptual design work 2) Writing reports / specifications 3) Understanding client requirements 4) Contributing to technical proposals 5) Put together drawing s and calculations 6) Liaising and working closely with other departments Ideally you will be qualified to a degree level in a Mechanical discipline.
