Senior PDS Piping Designer-Teesside-Contract Our clients are a worldwide oil & gas and petrochemical company who are looking for an experienced Senior PDS Piping Designer to work on a contract basis from their site in Teesside. Experience Required: Senior PDS Piping Designer Qualified to HNC level or equivalent with piping design experience gained at major contracting companies on a variety of petrochemical projects including revamps and plant modifications. The successful applicant will be a self-starter able to demonstrate the ability to work using their own initiative or as part of a team. Ability to work to budget with an appreciation of project costs. Knowledge of appropriate national and international codes and standards. Experienced in working to procedures within a quality system with knowledge of health and safetyissues. Experienced in the following activities: - Producing piping layouts Specification coding Equipment modelling Piping modelling Clash checking Participating in model reviews Extraction of isometrics Producing general arrangements and isometrics MTO Support detailing Producing schedules Site surveys Competent in the use of 3D and 2D CAD including PDS, Microstation and AutoCAD. Candidates with experience of other 3D CAD such as PDMS or Autoplant will be considered.
