FAA - Assembly & Test Technician Lv2
TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking an FAA - Assembly & Test Technician Lv2 for one of our clients within the aerospace industry in Tucson , AZ. Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Monday - Friday Location: Tucson, AZ Pay: $16.00 / hr FAA Position performs a variety of tasks including disassembly, analysis, repair and rework of aircraft cabin pressure valves and controllers in support of FAA Repair Station. Candidate must be familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Works from diagrams, blueprints, CMM’s and other work instructions. Must be able to analyze and rework aircraft cabin pressure controllers in accordance with established procedures, and provide recommendations on steps need to return to service in accordance with FAA and other regulations. Works with a variety of chemicals. Partners with Honeywell Operating System experts and Cell Manager in implementing operating system - following Standard Work, participating in Rapid Problem Solving, 5S, Visual Management, Continuous Improvement, and Tiered Accountability processes. Assists in maintaining shop goals, provides help, ideas and feedback to team members and asks for help when needed. Actively participates as a member of a team to achieve business goals. Basic Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum of 3 years related experience - experience with cabin pressure preferred. • US Citizen or Permanent Resident. (based on ITAR) Additional Qualifications • Demonstrate the ability to perform complex analysis, troubleshooting, and assembly without assistance. • Ability to follow written instructions, use common hand tools, and basic math skills. • Correctly use torque wrenches, specialty tools and test equipment. • Ability to work as a team member requiring minimal direct supervision. • Ability to determine root causes of problems and prevent recurrences. • Willingness to learn and apply new concepts. • Ability to work closely with Engineering and Quality to resolve customer and design issues as well as revise work instructions. • R&O experience strongly desired.
