Hello, There are many small and genuine NGOs/ Charitable trusts who are doing great work for the community and they cannot afford to spend much on IT/infrastructure and they also lack the required manpower. My company wants to help these organizations by providing a web based management software. We will be providing the services absolutely free and are doing this only to help and encourage them and helping them concentrate on their core task of helping the needy. We will be hosting the server and taking care of all the infrastructure and expect the NGOs to only have access to either a laptop or a mobile phone using which they can manage their organizations. There are a few open source software available. As an example, please check out /open.php. PHP is great to code but we find it is not too easy to maintain and debug. So we would prefer if such a site is built using either Java/JSP or ASP.net technologies. MYSQL would be preferred choice of back end database. The Emphasis should be on a pleasant and easy to use UI.
