Programme Director, MSP, PRINCE2, APMP, Agile, Business Transformation, Business Acquisition, Transformation Programme An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Director to join my client, a recently acquired billion pound turnover business specialising in high-tech home healthcare, to take responsibility for the day to day leadership of a large scale Transformation Programme. The Transformation Programme is driven by the recent acquisition and consequently the management have initiated a wide-scale transformation Programme designed to position the company for further significant growth. The Programme will cover a number of areas including; Consolidating offices & operations into a single site Automating dispensing and sortation processes Streamlining business processes and IT Employee Productivity Logistics Revenue enhancement Reporting to the COO, the Programme Director will be responsible for building a team of Project Managers ensuring that they deliver their programme of activities on time, to budget, in full, managing interdependencies between Projects whilst managing relationships with the executive board and other stake holders. As Programme Director you will be the single point of accountability to deliver the Programme, designing, implementing and controlling the Programme to deliver strategy, operations & cost reduction objectives whilst managing the Programme budget and resources. You should be experienced in tendering for, negotiating with, appointing and managing 3rd party suppliers where appropriate and identifying & managing interdependencies between Projects & workstreams, identifying, highlighting and managing/ mitigating risks. You should be able to operate at 'C' level providing regular updates on Programme progress & performance to the COO and Steering Committee. As you would expect, we're looking to identify an individual with extensive experience directly managing large-scale Transformation Programmes whilst operating at Director Level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to design, lead and manage major, multi faceted transformation Programmes. You will have strong decisive leadership skills, with an ability to communicate from board level to shop floor within an environment that is somewhat reluctant to change. Specific experience of Programmes covering Site Relocation, Installing Automating / Complex materials handling, Process and IT transformation would be desirable, as would experience within the healthcare and pharmaceuticals space but not essential. . Ideally we're looking at someone with 10 years + experience at Programme Director level and Professionally qualified (MSP, PRINCE2, PMP) This is likely to be a two year Programme and as such my client is happy to consider either a traditional contract role or fixed term salaried contract.
