Description of job duties: Perform production planning/scheduling and inventory management to maintain adherence to production schedules for instruments; reagents; calibrators/controls and spares at the Santa Clara manufacturing facility. Works with minimal supervision. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. Analyze planning requirements and initiate appropriate action to support the master schedule or independent demands. Recommends alternate action to be taken if the master production schedule cannot be met.
