Security solutions include secure data transfer, secure data storage, authentication, authorization, role based access control, and similar components. Experience with Identity Management and Role Based Access Control, LDAP, and federated Single Sign-On is important. Systems secured include Web Applications, Portals, Off-the-Shelf software, Databases, Unix Servers, Windows Servers, etc. In addition to understanding and using the established patterns and technologies, the specialist must seek new methods and technologies to employ, based on emerging requirements, and for continuous improvement of Clients systems and processes.
