TEKsystems is looking a cable technician. Opportunities are for commercial sites in NYC and Long Island. Reliable transportation would be a plus and tools are essential. Technicians will also need there OSHA 10 certification within the past 5 years. This technician must be familiar with: Color codes, Punch downs, Cat 5 cable, rack installations, and wire wrapping. Experience with both voice and data cables is a key as well. Terminations on patch panels, 110/66 blocks and data jacks are needed for any opportunities.
