Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills:   Job# 15159   Research Associate Systems Integration   As a Research Associate you will support the development of platforms based on our proprietary Sequencing (SBS) technology. You will be part of multidisciplinary teams solving complex problems, working on integration issues and investigating new research areas.   Job duties include but are not limited to: I.                  Collaborate with all functions within project teams (such as chemistry, software, engineering and manufacturing) II.                 Engage in the early design of products III.               Develop test plans to validate product performance IV.               Analyze data and troubleshoot issues V.                Able to suggest creative solutions to integration VI.               Willingness to be hands-on   Perform routine chemical and biochemical testing Use standard laboratory instrumentation: i.e. UV-VIS, HPLC, fluorescence plate readers, liquid handling robotics Produce and test complex reagents Hands-on testing and integration of DNA sequencing systems; hardware, firmware, software, chemistry/reagents, and application components Supporting the testing and screening of new materials System level testing, assay testing, and image analysis Analysis of large complex data sets Keeping a laboratory notebook Present updates, write reports, and conduct technical meetings Skills              I.                  Product development experience, including integration and test, transfer to production, and documentation II.                 Excellent communication skills III.               A desire to be part of face paced dynamic development environment IV.               Multidisciplinary approach to problem solving Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully work across multiple disciplines such as engineering, software and manufacturing highly desired.
