For further details on our work and our culture, please visit www.dacbeachcroft.com Our Real Estate Team covers every aspect of commercial real estate work including planning and environmental, development, investment, asset management, funding, construction, landlord and tenant and dispute resolution. Clients include property management and development companies, health trusts and government bodies (local and central), owner occupiers and institutions, both in the UK and overseas. Teams are drawn from our offices across the country (London, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol), ensuring our clients benefit from a combination of the most appropriately experienced team and local market knowledge. In all cases we provide high quality, commercially orientated advice to clients for whom property is a key asset. We are seeking to recruit a secretary into the Real Estate team in Bristol to provide support to 3-4 fee earners . The team currently comprises of 5 Partners, 12 Associates, 15 Solicitors and 9 secretar ies . The Role Part time – 2 7.5 hours over 5 days . Hours negotiable. Working as part of a team, you will be required to provide an excellent standard of secretarial support to the Real Estate team. You will also be required to provide support across the other practice groups as and when required . Key Responsibilities for this role: · Prepare correspondence and documents from digital dictation together with amending and formatting of documents e.g. lease agreements · Answer and make telephone calls · Open and close files · File, archive, photocopy, scan and fax documents as and when required · Ensure that client contact information is kept up to date · Assist with incoming billing, cash collection and accounts queries · Assist with the booking of travel arrangements · Book client meetings · Assist with ad-hoc business development and communications activities e.g. client contact reports, delegate packs etc. · Maintain a level of individual knowledge required for the role · Help maintain a clean office and clear desk · Handle confidential information in line with the firms data security protocols The Person · Qualified to a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including a grade C in English and Maths) or equivalent · A secretarial NVQ / Diploma or equivalent would be beneficial but is not essential · Previous secretarial experience within Real Estate is essential as is a minimum typing speed of 65 WPM · Must have good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages.
