Technology Project Manager
Home Lending Technology provides end-to-end technology products and services delivery for Home Lending Lines of Business partners. The Mission is to provide value to their clients through technical leadership in development and delivery of information technology solutions to support the needs of the various Lending lines of business within Retail Financial Services. As a Technology Project Manager, you will facilitate the delivery of technology in support of the Home Lending Book of work focused on infrastructure, networking, applications, system software, and database projects. This role is within our Quality Assurance Test Team, focusing on Originations. You will work specifically with the End to End testing team to help coordinate the many functions around End to End Mortgage Banking Originations. You will work with the End to End QA Managers and create project plans for End to End Team's deliverables. You will work across Mortgage bank towers to ensure collaboration and alignment with timelines and deliverables. You will also be responsible for conducting project/phase kick-off meetings to communicate individual roles and project expectations and ensure that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively. You will also be responsible for leading issue triage meetings and other as needed meetings. The Manager will monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issues resolution and taking corrective action as necessary. They will execute projects per SDLC standards and manage relationships with Business Partners and technology groups. Qualifications: * College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience * Minimum five years of combined business, project management, team leadership and IT QA experience required * Experience working in both an Agile and Waterfall Environment * Experience with delivering projects in multiple technologies, functions, (e.g. Finance, Sales, Customer Service, etc.) and industries * Knowledge and experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Project Workbench, PMI, etc * Knowledge and experience using MS Office, including but not limited to Excel and Word * Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills * Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP) preferred * Knowledge of outsourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop and deliver management presentations * Ability to develop strong client relationships
