Start: Within 2 weeks Our client is currently looking for a Technical Infrastructure Architect. Role Description: Assist in infrastructure and capacity design, environment build out and environment maintenance activities (ie environment uptime, patching, performance turning) activities for custom, enterprise digital asset management applications. Ideal resource has experience or strong understanding in OS (Windows/Linux) administration, determining hardware specs, sizing, topology, redundancy, scalability and security. Also, ideal resource has had some hands-on experience in storage architecture, storage tuning, capacity planning, network security, DMZ design for external-facing web applications. Ideally, hands on experience in VMware products, architecture, configurations and automation to improve current client data center VM creation and deployment approach Role Skills: Administration or experience in Linux, Windows, Storage architecture, network, VMWare, data center operations experience, infrastructure architecture and design. Ability to lead small technical teams (on and offshore) is ideal. Prior production operations support experience strongly encouraged. Understanding or experience of ITIL service management processes a big plus.
