Lead Visual and UX Designer We are looking for a talented Lead Visual and UX Designer to join our team at eSalon. This position will be responsible for crafting and maintaining the future visual design of our quickly growing company and brand. We need to elegantly portray eSalon as not just a beauty company or a technology company but a marriage of the two. As part of our small and passionate team, you’ll be asked to participate in everything from sketches to design and implementation, and your experience and opinion will be called upon extensively. You will also be the "gatekeeper" for any visual representation of our brand, including our site, external presentations, packaging, etc. Requirements Extensive experience developing consumer and/or commercial web application interfaces Ability to visualize the creation of a website from initial concepts and wireframes thorough to execution of elegant user experience design Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator in particular). Prior experience with the handling of production lines with fluids, gels or other similar products is strongly preferred Expert eye for detail, pixel perfection, good typography, composition, and use of color; there is no detail too small. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Ability to prototype your work in HTML/CSS is a BIG plus. We're a small team, and often you'll be the one moving your designs from Photoshop to code.
