Analyzes sales statistics, business processes and customer information to evaluate operational performance of the inside and outside sales team. Provides this analysis to management on a monthly and/or quarterly basis. This may include new customer generation reporting by sales engineer, key account order volume history, territory volume history, etc. 2. Responsible for CRM administration, management and training as the company expert on this system. 3. Provides report to Sales Manager to track performance to goals for sales engineers by compiling monthly/quarterly/annual bookings and shipment revenue, breakdown of sales by distributors or OEM's, customer order history and other information as requested. 4. Develops reports from the CRM tool. Performs ad hoc analyses to evaluate key business metrics for sales and marketing. Modifies processes and reports as a changing business environment dictates. Coordinates with business units, IT, and finance to define changes to adjust programs and reporting accordingly. 5. Manages monthly/quarterly account review process for sales management. Works with Finance and HR to administer sales commissions based on goals and incentive programs provided by management. 6. Generates and refines forecasting models based on data from sales team, CRM tool and other internal transactional databases to provide sales pipeline forecasting and analysis. 7. Coordinates distributor contract/agreements with Corporate Legal. 8. Orchestrates Quarterly Sales Meetings and Distributor Meetings. 9. Provides administrative support to Sales Manager and performs various other administrative functions on a regular basis requiring at times considerable independent judgment and discretion. This includes a variety of services to include backing up the Front Desk when required, expense reports, travel arrangements, and processing incoming/outgoing mail. 10. Knows and applies the division's quality policy and procedures of ISO 9001 as it relates to area of responsibility and the organization. Follows all standard operating procedures as prescribed and notifies appropriate personnel of any non-conformance. Requirements: " Two year business degree and minimum four years related experience in sales or business OR eight years related experience " Expert PC skills including MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other desktop applications. Must be able to write queries, macros and reports using ODBC links and other data resources. Knowledge of CRM, Salesforce.com, BAAN/LN a plus. " Must be able to clearly communicate all reasoning behind analysis of business metrics, queries and/or reports " Familiarity with CRM/Salesforce.com, segmentation, data management, data measurements, and/or statistical analysis " Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, problem-solve, and produce results " Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy " Ability to function independently without supervision " Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment to solve problems and make recommendations " Competencies would include: analytical thinking, initiative, multi-tasking, teamwork and cooperation Location: Cary, NC Type: CONTRACT Duration: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: DOE Contact: Volt Workforce Solutions 4011 Westchase Blvd., Ste. 180 Raleigh, NC 27607 PH: 919/829-1660 FX: 919/829-1620 Keywords: Administrative
