Automotive Manufacturer in need of New Vehicle and Accessory Development Engineers for contingent assignments. Work with New Model Line Engineer to perform comprehensive new model servicability. Document issues and report. Provide technical support for vendors. Monitor the accessory programs by tracking warranty activity. Monitor accessory quality issues. Validate reported quality issues, recommend appropriate courses of action and report findings. Coordinate the implementation of all accessory program countermeasures. Requirements: Degreed Engineer in a relevant discipline (electrical, mechanical, or automotive sub-specialty) Automotive OEM experience, recent and relevant is needed. Familiar with product development processes and QA processes. Experience with accessory programs or New model launches will prove beneficial. Ability to write & speak technical communication, exposure to working the ports, analytical, and support at customer level. Local candidates only. Immediate need.
