Communications Officer, Charity/Social, South East, 6-12 months, £100 - £110 per day THE COMPANY This major housing association operating in central, southern and eastern England provides high quality housing that people want and can afford. They are looking for a Communications Officer to develop and deliver communications plans, projects, schedules and protocols and to respond to issues and opportunities that arise within this worthy organisation. THE ROLE As Communications officer you will be responsible for a number of activities such as: · Ensuring that communications activity is appropriate, of a high standard and offers value for money. · Providing a comprehensive proactive and reactive media service. · Writing, proofing and approving copy for a variety of outputs, including the residents' magazine, staff newsletter, leaflets, posters, the website, intranet, press releases, social media posts etc. · Managing and delivering print projects, such as the quarterly residents' magazine. · Using and maintaining a variety of electronic outputs (e.g. website, Facebook). · Managing a variety of projects, including events and conferences YOU To be considered for this Communications Officer opportunity you will need the following skills and experience: · Proficient at dealing with responsive enquiries and promoting good news · Good magazine and publication production · Competent with managing online media · Experience of writing for a variety of audiences · Proofreading · Knowledge of housing sector Interested?
