Sr. Organizational Change Management Specialist
Our client has a need for two contract Sr. Organizational Change Management Specialists per the job description below. The initial term is 1 year. Position will lead complex Organizational Change Management activities related to ITS projects. The person filling this role will analyze project impacts including performing stakeholder and organizational impact analyses. Analyzes change management requirements and advises functional and technical teams on appropriate activities. Develops detailed plans for communications, training, user preparations, application readiness and launch and ongoing support on complex projects. Develops detailed communication plans that include stakeholders impacted by the project, relevant communications vehicles, and messages for each group of stakeholders. Writes, reviews and delivers communications. Creates training plans and assists as required with creation of training documentation and delivery. Supports department and end user readiness planning and execution. Provides readiness checklists. Ability to successfully plan, lead and execute change management support for complex projects. Required Skill/Ability 1: Strong analytic and decision making abilities. Problem solving and root cause identification skills. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Required Skill/Ability 2: Superior customer service orientation, self initiative, ability to take charge, put order to chaos, and drive initiatives through to completion. Required Skill/Ability 3: Proven experience working with change management methodologies. Required Skill/Ability 4: Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and continuous iterations. Required Skill/Ability 5: Superior communication skills including written, oral and presentation development and delivery abilities. Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Excellent active listening skills. Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor's degree and 10 - 15 years of organizational change management experience in a university setting. Organizational Development experience a plus.
