The Senior Software Development Engineer will be working on the team responsible for building a new web browser engine for the next generation tablet/reader products for a well known company. Job Responsibilities - Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using embedded C/C++, wireless technologies and Android/Linux. - Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance. - Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. - Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools. Job Requirements - Five (5) plus years of software development experience using C++ or Java. - Two (2) plus years of development on the Android platform. - Two (2) plus years experience developing in Embedded Linux. - Experience developing a web browser engine would be a plus.
