 * For those looking to cover news, a history of breaking news stories and industry contacts is not required, but would be a big plus.

* Write a minimum 1 to 2 posts per week (300 words minimum for news items and 800-1,000 words minimum for guides, reviews, and editorials). * Coordinate as needed with editors/other writers to ensure coverage of breaking news and other topics * Take and/or edit photos as needed to supplement posts * Interact with readers via social media networks and our forums in a professional manner to answer questions, build awareness of our content, etc.

A digital camera with video-capture capabilities (or a separate video camera) to capture videos for upload to YouTube is a plus.
