URGENT NEED FOR CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT: Client is looking for an RF Systems Engineer with SCADA or RTU experience in multiple wireless technologies to handle RF network coverage modeling including various Radio technologies such as point to muli-point networks, Trunked Radio, Mulltiple address Radio, etc. Responsibilities will also include design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and performance analysis of SMARTgrid networks.This 1 years+ contract position is located in Columbus, Ohio . Per diem is available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Will provide engineering and design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting RTU /SCADA engineering and transport systems performance Will provide engineering support and provide technical and project management responsibilities over SMARTgrid projects, through cellular, trunked and conventional radio systems including hardware and software testing and verification Will demonstrate problem-solving skills in all areas of WirelessEngineering and initiate appropriate corrective action when objectivesare not being met Will coordinate the development of input necessary to establish projectedcosts of all projects using scheduling techniques for budgeting and planning activities Requirements Requires a minimum of two (2) years of wireless engineering experience designing RF networks including wireless broadband, trunked radio and/or conventional radio networks and a thorough understanding of IP networking Experience with engineering and design of multiple RF wireless technologies such as RF Mesh, point to multi-point networks, 800 MHz Trunked Radio, Multiple Address Radio, WiMAX and Conventional Radio systems Must have the ability to do RF network coverage modeling Must have an understanding of the cellular networking, SCADA engineering and transport systems Requires knowledge of Network Engineering, including IPaddressing, the OSI model, routers, switches, layer 2 & 3, etc Benefits Paid Vacation 401K Health Insurance, and more...
