Systems Administrator Level II Microsoft Web Platform Systems Architect / Administrator Approximate 4-6 month contract. Successful candidate will be a W2 employee working for GeoLogics at our client site (Raytheon Company) in Plano, TX. Our client is looking for an experienced Microsoft-focused IT Professional to design and implement solutions in a System Center 2012, Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2012-based private cloud environment. Responsibilities include: Architecting, designing and executing migration, and consolidation of existing SharePoint environments farms Developing an extensive platform monitoring strategy. Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on one or more of the Company's many foundational technologies. Exhibiting a strong ability to troubleshoot and performance-tune those technologies. Managing and monitoring server capacity planning activities. Testing and implementing new tools to better manage the virtual server infrastructure. Assisting in the planning and managing program-wide technology build, test and deployment activities for the virtualization environment. Participating in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution; Implementing disaster recovery processes and procedures in the server virtualization environment.
