My client is a well-known brand in the charity sector that works as part of a global network to tackle poverty and injustice. They are currently looking for an outgoing Finance Officer to cover maternity leave and provide support to a number of on-going projects. You will be responsible for: ·         Ensuring the accurate and complete processing of purchase invoices from logging onto the system to approval and payment. ·         Preparing reconciliations on the bank accounts and petty cash ·         Monitoring compliance with financial and purchasing procedures. ·         Reviewing all current processes to improve best practice. The successful candidate will have: ·         Strong all round experience of working within a finance department. ·         A detailed understanding of the full accounts payable function. ·         Experience of managing their own workload successfully and evidence of working efficiently under pressure. ·         Confident and out-going interpersonal skills and desire to work in a close team environment.
