PLM teamcenter specialist/analyst/consultant
We have an exciting PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) position, working for one of the worlds-leading providers to the civil aerospace, defence aerospace, marine and energy and nuclear markets. The role will be for 12 months, Derby based and is an opportunity to develop within a global organisation that has outstanding growth and future plans. Role Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of the position will be for Data and Document Management (D&DM), as well as Organisational Change Management (OCM). This will involve the following in relation to D&DM and OCM: Support the businesses in the creation of site and global PLM strategies. Ensure business requirements are captured and incorporated into the Corporate PLM Capability teams for Rel E+. Support communication to key individuals within the business to ensure that the solutions are embraced by the business and fully implemented. Develop expertise in allocated PLM tools and business processes. Deliver presentations for the effective introduction of PLM into the business. Address the aspects of business impact, communications, training and data migration. Support the delivery of business implementations. Support the development and deployment of the local implementation plans. Support the activity required to ensure business deployment is successful including identifying and providing the necessary training and support activities. Implement appropriate changes at a local level making a maximum benefit of work in other parts of the organisation. Liaise with the EIC PLM teams covering Data and Document Management Deployment and Support the other Business Leads to ensure a coherent implementation of PLM. Essential / Required Skills & Experience: Experience in implementing programmes across businesses, preferably in the data and document management arena. Strong knowledge of the use and application of Engineering Documents, inclusive of document classification/relationships, data management principles in managing product data ensuring controlled and efficient access to the user base. Ability to influence at all levels to ensure a consistent approach to Document Management in PLM. Experience on previous similar IT projects accompanied with an understanding of how to manage data is preferred. Ability to ensure the business requirements are understood challenged and translated into a set of deliverables in the corporate PLM releases for deployment across the business area. Ability to problem solving and identify areas of process improvement that will deliver benefits to the business. Strong interpersonal relationship abilities with good written and verbal communication skills are essential. An understanding of existing Document Management systems/processes and Siemens Teamcenter PDM package would also be preferential. Experience of Organisational Change Management environments. Experience of Stakeholder Management. Degree Qualified.
