MeringCarson is a fully integrated modern advertising agency with offices in Sacramento and San Diego. We are looking for a talented, design-minded art director who has the ability to contribute to idea generation; someone that understands the importance of the big idea and bringing a brand to life through all channels, digital and traditional. Knowledge/experience with digital media and programs is important. You will work on a variety of accounts, including large travel/tourism clients, so an interest or passion for travel is a plus. Candidates will have 5+ years of experience within an agency environment. This is not an entry level position! You should be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and should be an organized, detail-oriented person. Qualifications: bachelor's or advance degree minimum of 5+ years in similar role excellent proven portfolio of work with recognizable brands requires expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator able to think strategically, offering solutions that solve multiple levels of client needs strong attention to detail the ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
