My client is seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor with retail project experience to assist with a growing portfolio of projects and an expanding workload. The team oversee projects within the retail and fit-out sector and it is vital that you have significant retail experience gained with a range of leading brands, to secure this position. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be managing the commercial aspect of the contract and driving improvements on the performance of the contract to ensure the successful delivery to the client You will be joining a small but busy and professional team who have a strong background and reputation within the retail sector. You must be willing to work on projects across the UK and be capable of working on a project basis. Essential requirements: *A relevant construction background within the retail sector *Experience and background with Fit-Out projects *Be a resilient character *Client result focused *Be willing to challenge project team members to get the best results *High level of commercial acumen *Be creative and innovative in finding solutions within this cost conscious market. *Have your over transport and Licence *Happy to travel Desirable requirements: *Ideally degree qualified and will be a member of a relevant Professional body. Location: *Based in Buckinghamshire whilst in the office but travelling to sites will also be required.
