CITRIX TECHNICAL ANALYST Mount Olive, NJ CITRIX TECHNICAL ANALYST Major firm in Mount Olive, New Jersey is seeking a Technical Analyst for a six month plus contract position. The firm is looking for a Citrix skilled individual with demonstrated abilities in upgrading Citrix enterprise infrastructures from v4.5 to current. Needed is ability to analyze as-is and prepare upgrade and roadmap to bring our infrastructure current as well as assist with architecture build out, upgrades and migrations and to develop operational and supportability documentation. The key word is Enterprise and is key in adhering to industry/solution best practices providing a highly resilient and fault tolerant Citrix farm for the firm. This position can possibly work remotely three days a week with the other two days on site in Mount Olive. The firms Citrix server farms are located in Philadelphia, Brazil and Asia. Position Summary The position is responsible up to a six (6) month engagement addressing the full life cycle management of the Citrix environment including performing initial assessment, requirements gathering, design, and delivery of Citrix strategy which includes implementation and support facets. Qualified senior level applicants that possess: An active CCEA, CCEE or CCIA Extensive technical knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and higher Extensive experience working with Citrix application delivery systems, including application virtualization and application streaming, Citrix Presentation Server Console, Citrix Access Suite Console. Experience managing large enterprise level Citrix server farms 100+ servers Experience designing and deploying a highly available Citrix environment spanning multiple data centers Experience designing and deploying Citrix Netscaler in an enterprise environment Experience with user profile management techniques Experience with XenApp 4.X +, Citrix Web Interface 4.X +, Citrix Access Gateway 4.X + Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows 2003/2008 Server Experience with Management and Monitoring of Citrix servers/farms 4.X+ (EdgeSight) Experience with Farm upgrade/migration (4.5 to 6.5) Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWARE, hyperV, XenApp) and proper scaling of Citrix in a virtual environment Knowledge of data center design and infrastructure Knowledge of storage technologies (FC- SAN) This resource will be responsible for our strategic development of Citrix performing a tactical assessment as-is and development of strategic to-be. We are looking for someone who is able to create road maps, design, and architect and to provide documentation to complete upgrades and provide maintenance/support guidance. The role entails reviewing numerous applications relying on the Citrix environment and performing infrastructure, capacity, capabilities assessment. Key is experience in architecture and design of enterprise level Citrix farms and the ability to articulate and document strategic road maps.
