Our client is seeking a Security Analyst for their Louisville, Kentucky location. Responsibilities: Provides system security support across all platforms in the IS environment Assists with research, investigation, and evaluation of emerging IS security-related technologies Participates in the selection, design, testing, implementation, and documentation of system software and hardware platforms being introduced or re-engineered enterprise-wide Assists in the design and management of tools that monitor, detect, and report system security-related events Assists with scripting (AutoIT) and Excel (VBScript) and programming Performs and manages small to medium complex Information security projects Solicits feedback from senior department team members Provides after hours-scheduled support as needed Requirements include 2+ years of experience in the following: Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory; Unix knowledge is preferred Working scripting knowledge (AutoIT or other Integratable alternative such as Auto Hotkey and Automate) Working knowledge of web technology for use with 3rd party sites that scripts interact with (HTML, JavaScript, and ASP) Basic understanding of networking fundamentals Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, especially in a cross-functional environment Knowledge and understanding of the customer's business requirements with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence within the planning, design, and implementation process Ability to assess, architect, and implement software to meet IS Security policy across multi-platform environments Working knowledge of Change Management processes and concepts Strong analytical skills
