Project Manager / Business Analyst for Reporting Tool project
Reporting Project Manager / Business Analyst - Technology Summary: The Reporting Project Manager / Business Analyst acts in a crucial role creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between client Reporting needs and technology delivery. The PM/Analyst acts as overall business liaison to clients, technical resources and support services and vendors. We are in the process of going through an RFP to select an enterprise wide reporting tool and the Project Manager/Analyst will manage the RFP process, implementation, and rollout to users. The Reporting PM/Analyst will be required to run Reporting Projects. This includes but is not limited to: - Setting up meetings with vendors / business users - Creating / managing a Project schedule - Managing development resources - Writing meeting notes - Writing Project documentation including Requirements Documents, Test Plans, User Documentation, Training Documents - Running User Acceptance Test Meetings - Running Training Sessions Requirements: Project Management experience Highly developed organization skills Exceptional analytical skills Ability to concurrently manage multiple assigned tasks/projects Excellent interpersonal oral, and written communication skills Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and department boundaries. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills Experience in Higher Education is highly desirable. Fluency and comfort in the use of technology in everyday life Fluency in using popular productivity software (MS Office suite or Equivalent) on either Windows or Mac computers Fluency in navigation the web and using web-based tools to facilitate work, learning, collaboration, productivity, research, etc. Ability to work independently with limited direction Bachelor's Degree and five years experience. Equivalent experience considered. Knowledge of MS Project and Visio desirable. Experience in Data Modeling desirable. Knowledge of SQL query tools desired. Preferred skills: Reporting.
