Level 1 - IT Help Desk Support, Windows, Active Directory
Tier 1 IT Help Desk Support Technician needed to support proprietary applications and hardware. Will support remote users via phone and remote software. Responsibilities will include: First line help desk; resolve basic level 1 and some level 2 issues in a Windows environment. Troubleshoot hardware (PC's, mobile devices, tablets, laptops, printers, etc.) issues Troubleshoot software issues (MS Office, Email, and proprietary software applications) Basic Active Directory support Escalate issues as needed Ticket management Requirements: 1 to 2 years IT Help Desk / Phone / Remote Support experience Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues Active Directory Windows XP & 7 knowledge Experience with ticketing systems (i.e. Remedy, Heat, ServiceNow, etc.) Excellent communication skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment General TCP/IP knowledge strongly preferred **Flexibility with schedule required as this position will involve a rotating weekend shift a few times per year.** ================================================================================ =========================== KEYWORDS: Help Desk, Tier 1 Help Desk, Phone Support, IT Support Technician, IT Support Specialist, HelpDesk Specialist, Help Desk Specialist, Phone Support Specialist ________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________ If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit your resume with 2-3 manager references.
