We are looking for an energetic individual to join our software development team to help us increase our market dominance. The successful candidate must possess excellent systems analysis skills, technology skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. This person must take initiative, be a team player, and be versatile in their abilities. Responsibilities: • Specific area of focus is in VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure standards and best practices are followed • Take part in all aspects of the development life cycle, including: requirements gathering, analysis, prototyping, UI design, detailed systems and technical design, development, unit testing and integration testing • Take part in support of existing applications Required Skills: • 5+ years of professional software development experience with large/complex projects, preferably in the financial services industry • Significant demonstrable experience with the following technologies (minimum) o VB/ASP.Net o SQL Server 2005 o UI Design • Analytical and technical understanding of software development life cycle • Demonstrate the propensity to perform analysis and solve problems • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, small team environment Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent • System Architectural experience • Other technical experience: o JavaScript o AJAX o Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) o PKI, digital signature and authentication Interested candidates should send their resumes to recruiter@aquinasconsulting.com for consideration!
