Tech will be responsible for the following: Proactive detect, troubleshoot, and repair of T1's in multiple switches and transport equipment. T1's include the following products: 911, SS7, Voice and Data. Tech will be in constant contact with off net vendors and will be required to test "head to head" with these entities. Strong multitasking and organizing capabilities are essential. Individual will be part of a team atmosphere that is in contact with many internal departments. Tech will be part of a 24/7 team and must be flexible to work any shift required. Knowledge of the following - Switches: 5ESS, DMS-250, DMS-300, DMS-500, Soft Switch including Sonus, and NAS. Transport Equipment: Alcatel 1631, Tellabs Titan 5500, Titan 5500NGX, Titan 6400, Fujitsu - FLM-150, Cerent, CAC-MUX, Edgelink-MUX, and Adtran-MUX.
